Default is solid char ester and charcoal ester convoluted lid when you select buy case with foam as shown.
2 Neumann U87ai microphones plus 2 OEM shockmounts in a Pelican 1520 case. 1/4" Topguard foam at very bottom to accommodate sharp metal points of shockmounts. Microphones and shockmounts protrude above base foam enough to prevent movement if case is shaken. The lid foam is standard convoluted ester, and the base foam, to afford a softer cradle for the microphones, charcoal ester.

Case Information
TSA requires the following:
- The firearm must be in a hard-sided container.
- The container must be locked. A locked container is defined as one that completely secures the firearm from being accessed. Locked cases that can be pulled open with little effort cannot be brought aboard the aircraft.
